5.8. Configure the Runner

Once the runner is registered, the basic configuration is already set. However, if you need to customize settings or add advanced configurations, you can edit the config.toml file. Usually, the config.toml file is located in:

  • Linux: /etc/gitlab-runner/config.toml
  • macOS: /usr/local/etc/gitlab-runner/config.toml
  • Windows: C:\GitLab-Runner\config.toml

Example configuration for a Docker executor:
